each of these poster is like an example of perfection. salute to those designers... you are something!
you can find all the posters through this link!
i was looking for some illustrations, posters… some old things. then i got the fifa world cup’s posters of all the previous years from the fifa website… these are wonderful. i always found myself so backdated comparing with the people rest of the world and time. i was thinking even if i were asked to design such a poster, i am sure i’ll not even able to reach the standard of the oldest one. people in 1930 were smarter than me!

I didn’t go so closer to the sea before. Its something I can’t tell in words. I had some very weird feelings… I was thinking I am too close to meet my destination… it’s a chance. I was shouting to the roaring waves… take me with you. I don’t know or even can’t imagine for how long it’s jumping like a white horse… or the noises are expression of joy or anger. It’s monotonous but I think I can pass years just with watching and listening. After the sun set… i found myself alone… I can’t explain… its heart breaking but charming… that some kind of sadness you can enjoy. On the dark night with ‘one sky stars’ the sea seems really furious. Its dark but the sea is visible with reflection of stars. The next day when we were moving to another island ‘chera dwip’ by boat, the first realization that came to my mind is ‘I am nothing’… but when the boat start moving I realize may be ‘I am something’ as a part of whole mankind.
The Beach of Saint martin Island is something very different than the cox’s bazaar or chittagong. It was my first time I went there and definitely I was bit over excited. The photo I’ve added with this post got a weird inspiration for me. The person on the photo is me and whenever I see it I mumble ‘do it and die’… that’s a happy ending!
One thing should be noted… ‘do it and die’ is a warning message from one of my friend for those who are in love or in dream of love…

Its the eid day morning but its raining too hard. Its good; probably its going to wash away all the sorrows, anxieties… brings freshness, happiness. Now its really raining too hard. I got up early in the morning… too earlier than normal days. I was walking through the silent village paths. It was before the rain… nature seemed bit different in it look. Its dawn but its dark cloudy… something mysterious cinematic lighting. It started raining when I was middle of the way and before I start writing I was walking in the rain. Ha ha ha… so poetic!

Its rainy season here and the most significant part of this season is, it never hears the weather forecast. so within may to last of august, if you walk under the open sky of Bangladesh, you can get a sudden shower any time. Don’t feel sorry for that. Most of the time rain is like a bless… even when it causes flood. Because flood increases the fertility of land. Anyway, few days ago on the way to my university I was caught by such a sudden rain. The photo was taken that day by my cell phone. Probably that was the first hardest rain of the year and people enjoyed it very much. I saw girls and boys taking shower in the rain… so did i.

[it's one of my oldest post. first i've published it in my msn space a year back. it's still one of my favorite writing.]
tomorrow is ‘pohela falgun’ – the 1st day of Spring… we called it ‘boshonto’ in Bangla. its one of the most colorful festival here. i don’t know why, but people use ‘yellow shades’ to represent the boshonto. girls wear yellow sharis, boys wear panjabi (i never do it, because it seems little funny to me)… mostly those boys and girls who are in an affair try to celebrate this day. it got a different meaning since last few years. 13 february is pohela falgun, 14 february is valentine day. so these two days became a synonyms for each other. we are a lucky nation…people around the world celebrate valentine day just for one day, but we celebrate it double day.
